Flahavan’s welcomes Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine

We were delighted to welcome the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue to the Mill, along with Minister Mary Butler on July 22nd. It was a scorching hot summer afternoon when the Ministers got to walk our site, where the Flahavan’s family has been milling oats for >200 years. To compound our excitement, we had just received the first delivery of oats for Harvest 2021 that morning – golden organic oats from Co. Roscommon.
The welcoming party included sixth and seventh generations of the Flahavan’s family including (pictured) John Flahavan (MD), Annie Flahavan (Financial Controller) and James Flahavan (International Business Development Manager).
Thanks to all of our team who worked so hard to make the visit such a success!
