Young Stars (Staff Initiative) - Terms & Conditions
Promoter is E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd, Waterford.
This initiative is open to staff members of E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd, Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford only. Winners (staff members) must be aged 18 years or over.
There are 12 x monthly prizes of €500 each to be won for your local team, which is to be used to support school/youth/junior teams in local communities across Waterford and the South East region. Staff members can nominate their “Young Stars” team each month through the online form here and at the end of each month a 3 person cross-departmental team will review entries in order to ensure fairness and transparency.
Winners will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:
- Nominated Teams should be 18 years and below (school age)
- Local Community Focus
- Positive Association for Flahavan’s brand
- Prize money to be used for equipment, kits or something physical/tangible and preferably (but not essential) with the opportunity to brand the materials with Flahavan’s logo
- Teams to share news of Flahavan’s support on social channels and tag @Flahavans
- Photographs of winners to be shared on Flahavan’s own social and digital channels
Winners will be announced officially on the last Friday of every month, commencing November 2023.
PRIZE DETAILS
Each prize consists of 1 x €500 cheque to be made out to the winning team (not the staff member nominating)
Flahavan’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Max one prize per staff member per year
Allow 14 days for delivery of prizes.
Photographic evidence of usage required.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate, or temporarily suspend this promotion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside of its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
The promoter reserves the right to not award a prize in any month when it is deemed that no suitable submissions have been received.
Submissions that are not successful in one month, will be re-considered in future months. Therefore there is no requirement on individuals to re-submit entries monthly for the same club/team/support package.
The information you provide will only be used for Flahavan’s to issue prizes. Flahavan’s will announce names on company email and also on noticeboards across the business at the end of each month.
Flahavan’s, its sub-contractors, subsidiaries and/or agencies cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any other problem, which may result in any entry, being lost or not properly registered.
By participating in the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions; any breach of these terms and conditions by a winner may result in forfeiture of their prize.
The winner(s) must agree to publicity in a manner determined by the Promoter. Should the winner(s) not agree to such publicity, their prize may be forfeited.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
