GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Welcome to the Flahavan’s website. The following are the terms and conditions for use and purchase of products from Flahavan’s (E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd). Your use of the Flahavan’s website constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by these terms, which may at any time, be amended. Your use at any time thereafter constitutes your agreement to be bound by the terms, as amended.
At Flahavan’s we are committed to providing the highest levels of customer service and our online service is no exception:
Our online store is open weekdays from 9am to 5.30pm and all queries will be dealt with during these periods. Questions relating to our online shop can be directed by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone to +353 51 294107. Our staff will do their very best to deal with your inquiry as swiftly as possible. Emails received at weekends or during bank holidays in Ireland will be dealt with on the next working day.
Orders are processed on weekdays from 9am to 5.30pm only. While we make every endeavour to process all orders within 48 hours of order placement, during busy seasonal periods, bank holidays and public holidays your order may not be dispatched for up to 72 hours after you place it.
We will notify you of any issues with your order as soon as possible once it has been placed, so that you are kept fully informed of how your order is progressing.
If, for any reason, the product you have purchased is temporarily out of stock, then one of our sales team will contact you by telephone or email. In this case you can decide either to substitute the product for another item in our range of equal value, or you can choose whether to cancel your order.
SPECIAL REQUESTS & AMENDS TO ORDERS
Should you have a special request for your order post-purchase, for example; Adding Gift Messages, Changing Addresses, Changing the item ordered, we will do our utmost to accommodate such requests. However, facilitating these requests may not always be possible if orders have already been dispatched or during high volume periods including Easter & Christmas.
PROMOTIONS, SPECIAL OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
Flahavan’s (E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd) promotional codes entitle you to an extra percentage (related to the specific discount promoted) off the gross price of your next order (excluding delivery charges) via www.flahavans.ie and www.flahavans.co.uk . To claim your discount, you must enter a Coupon Code upon checkout and the specified amount will be deducted from the gross price of your order accordingly. Promotional codes cannot be honoured post-purchase and must be added to your shopping bag at the time of purchase.
Promotional Codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, and are not transferable. There is no cash alternative. Discount codes exclude sale items, promotional items and delivery charges. Flahavan’s (E. Flahavan & Sons Ltd.) reserves the right to withdraw promotional code at any time and refuse any order related to a withdrawn promotional code at any time.
ORDERS BEING SHIPPED DURING WARMER PERIODS
In order to ensure the best possible outcome for orders being shipped to warmer climates (particularly during summer months), we kindly request that all customers provide an address where your hamper can be safely delivered by the courier on their first delivery attempt (i.e. work address). We cannot take responsibility for damaged goods in situations where customers have authorised couriers to leave parcels on doorsteps etc.
Status updates will be emailed through to each customer confirming when your order has been dispatched. Automatic emails will be generated by our shipping partner, GLS, with the relevant tracking number for orders being shipped.

ORDER CANCELLATION / RETURNS POLICY
We want you to be 100% satisfied with the products you receive and the service we provide, so if there is any issues with your order, then please do not hesitate to contact a member of our online sales team on email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone +353 51 294107 and we will be happy to rectify it as swiftly as possible.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with any of our food products, simply return them to us within 7 days with an explanation and we will be happy to provide a replacement, exchange or refund.
For clothing items on our website, we are offering a 28 day returns policy from receipt of purchase. Clothing items need to be returned with all tags/original packaging still in tact. Returned clothing items will not be accepted if they are stained, have odours or are unsuitable for re-sale. Customers need to pay postage charges for any returns. We advise that a trackable postage service is used for returns in case anything goes missing in the post. We cannot be held responsible for any returned items that do not reach us. We will process refund upon receipt of the returned items, once they have been inspected and approved for refund. Refunds can take a number of days to reach your account.
Flahavan’s reserves the right to cancel any order prior to order shipping.
Orders which have already been dispatched and are subsequently cancelled will be subject to any postage/product charges incurred as a result of this cancellation.
Flahavan’s products are not offered on a sale or return basis and all goods remain the property of Flahavan’s until all outstanding debts have been settled in full.
Refunds can take up to 10 working days to appear in your account.
The Flahavan’s website and its contents together with any trade names used by Flahavan’s are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be used without written permission.
Flahavan’s do not accept any responsibility for any external sites linked or connected to the Flahavan’s website and services contained therein.
