Perfect Porridge for Foodservice

INGREDIENTS:

800g Flahavan’s Porridge Oats

6.6l full fat milk

150ml cream

METHOD:

Add the oats and milk to a large pot and heat on full until the porridge begins to boil.

For the best results, stir frequently.

When porridge begins to boil/bubble, reduce heat to simmer.

Continue to stir gently until porridge thickens.

Add the cream.  Pour into a bain marie or porridge kettle to keep warm.

Add a little more milk as required to adjust consistency and stir occasionally for best results.
