Happy Birthday to the #KingOfOats

Wishing our very own John Flahavan the happiest birthday as he turns 70!

Not only has John been working in the family business 50 years, having joined the team in 1972, but he’s also been at the helm during the company’s biggest period of expansion and growth in its >200 year history. A man of vision, John has been instrumental in driving our sustainability programme forward in recent years, investing in Wind Turbines, Solar Panels and Integrated Constructed Wetlands since 2015.

He’s also as fit as a fiddle, with all the hiking, swimming and cycling he gets up to here in beautiful Waterford. He’s an example to us all of how to keep fit and active as we get older, and we were delighted to help him celebrate earlier this week. Cheers!
