Biodiversity Talk at Local Schools
We were delighted to visit 2 local schools; Kilmacthomas National School and Fews National School this week to talk all things Flahavan’s, sustainability and biodiversity.
The pupils ranged from second class right up to sixth class and they were all super excited to learn about Flahavan’s history and heritage in Waterford; family ethos; sustainability journey and of course – the Oat Milling process!
It was great to see that the pupils were already very familiar with sustainability and biodiversity, and how they can help the environment in their every day lives – a testament to the staff at both schools.
Thanks so much to Niall O’Connor and all the team at Kilmacthomas National School and to Jerome Fahy and all the team at Fews National School for such a warm welcome at both schools.
