Quality at Flahavan's

As a Waterford company, we take pride in sourcing our oats from local growers. At harvest time, we carefully select only the finest quality wholegrain oats, drying and storing them for the year ahead.
Flahavan’s are committed to sustainable production that protects the environment and our community. We burn the outer shell of the oat to fuel the boiler which generates steam used in the cooking process of the oats. We also use water from the original millstream at the River Mahon to generate electricity to help power the mill.
Flahavan's is committed to producing quality products and is certified to ISO9001 Quality Management System standards. Flahavan's is also HACCP certified as regards manufacturing procedures. As an Irish manufacturer our products also carry the Love Irish Food and the Guaranteed Irish symbols.
The Green Dot is a Europe-wide symbol that appears on the packaging of products you buy. It means that Flahavan's is committed to protecting the environment by funding the recovery and recycling of packaging waste. Repak is a private, not for profit Government approved company that administers the green dot regulations on Irish suppliers of products by European and Irish legislation.By having the green Dot on our packaging, Flahavan's takes seriously its responsibility to recover packaging waste.
Flahavan's offer a guarantee of quality with every pack sold. Flahavan & Sons Limited, Kilnagrange Mills, Kilmacthomas, County Waterford, stating when and where it was purchased or email your query.
